Analisis Korelasi Pembebanan Lampu Hemat Energi terhadap Distorsi Harmonik

Abstract


Analysis of the correlation between the load of energy saving lamps (LHE) and the harmonic distortion has been studied. This research was conducted due to the increasing use of energy-saving lamps and habits of people in frequently buying lamps only by considering the factors of momentary needs, availability, and financial abilities. At a place of residence, the community usually use a variety of LHE brands with different power variations. With such conditions and in order to represent the real conditions of the community in general, it is necessary to conduct research to determine the effect of the use of LHE with brand variations and power on the harmonic distortion generated. Testing of the harmonic distortion was conducted on each lamp (individual testing) and that were connected in parallel with four combinations of measurements based on brand and power. The results showed that no significant correlation between power and harmonic distortion of LHE. Moreover, the LHE brand was the dominant factor influence the Total Harmonic Distortion Current (I-THD), in %.


Analisis korelasi pembebanan lampu hemat energi (LHE) terhadap distorsi harmonik yang ditimbulkan telah dilakukan. Penelitian ini dilakukan karena semakin meningkatnya penggunaan lampu hemat energi dan masih sering dijumpai kebiasaan masyarakat dalam membeli lampu hanya dengan mempertimbangkan faktor kebutuhan sesaat, ketersediaan, dan kemampuan finansial. Dalam suatu tempat tinggal, masyarakat biasanya menggunakan berbagai macam merek LHE dengan variasi daya yang berbeda-beda. Dengan kondisi yang demikian dan agar dapat mewakili kondisi riil masyarakat pada umumnya, maka dilakukan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari penggunaan LHE dengan variasi merek dan daya terhadap distorsi harmonik yang dihasilkan. Pengujian distorsi harmonik dilakukan pada masing-masing lampu (pengujian individu) dan pengujian yang dihubungkan secara paralel dengan empat kombinasi pengukuran berdasarkan merek dan daya. Hasil yang diperoleh dari pengujian ini menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada korelasi antara daya dengan distorsi harmonik yang dihasilkan oleh LHE tersebut dan perubahan total distorsi harmonik arus (I-THD) dalam persen lampu lebih dominan disebabkan oleh merek yang berbeda.
